- Per the request of Glenn, who commented in our blog and emailed us, we decided to test having a person stand in front of the Gardner Project device and then agree to stand in that spot at the exact same time when we estimate the camera is picking up the image. Currently we’ve revised our estimate to around 28,632 hours forward (approximately 1,193 days ahead) as it seems to be running a bit farther than expected.
- So we asked our Advanced Research Coordinator, Jacob Gustar to stand in front of a wall at our office and take an image with the device. We then formally agreed (a short contract was signed) for Jacob to stand at that location for several hours on Sunday, April 17, 2011. We also selected a publicly accessible location in our lobby in the off chance that our team is no longer working within this building.

We’ve got the newspaper shot you guys suggested, the mirror test suggested, and we’re working on a really nice shot of downtown San Francisco even though it was requested with a snarky remark at Digg.
